Ivan Filippov delivered a speech on the Startups support Institute and the measures to encourage investors on high-tech industries in St. Petersburg at BarCamp “National technology revolution 20.35”

The leaders of community, representatives of IT-sphere, analytics, investors and heads of executive authorities participated at the meeting/ participants delivered lectures and reports, presentations and master-classes. In addition, at the meeting stakeholders participated in training sessions, discussions and business games, and together found ways to improve the competitiveness of Russians companies and reach out to global markets.

Today at the meeting Ivan Filippov, the Chairman of the Committee for Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of St. Petersburg, presented a set of measures aimed at stimulating investors in high-tech industries in St. Petersburg.

Ivan Filippov, speaking about supporting innovations, underlined the need to create the United Institute of Development of St. Petersburg. Particularly, the suggestion was to hold the Startup Fest in St. Petersburg. A unique event where startups will be represented at one site, and innovators will have the opportunity to meet the investors, large technology corporations and government representatives to discuss technological trends, ideas and, most importantly, specific projects.
