International conference on technologies “In the City” was held in St. Petersburg

Experts in the field of innovation, design, management and big data from the USA, the UK, Spain, Finland and Russia, delivered a speech on the evolution smart city, establishment  a market of urban data, the virtual city assistant to exploration real data, straight A.I., life-changing technologies. The Programme Directorate was the “STRELKA Institute”.

One of the key event had been the lecture “Open data: how to provide smart city together with citizens” by Francesca Bria, Commissioner for Digital Technology and Innovation. Barcelona City Council.

After the lecture, a meeting was held with Francesca Bria and Ivan Filippov, the Chairman of the Committee for Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of St. Petersburg. They discussed the development prospects of smart cities and Barcelona experience in this direction.
